DON JON'S ADDICTION ist eine romantische Komödie, welche die Geschichte eines jungen Mannes erzählt, welcher seine Traumfrau genau zu der Zeit kennen lernt, als er gegen seine Sucht nach Internet-Pornografie anzukämpfen versucht. Besonders spannend an der Geschichte ist die Entwicklung, welche die Hauptperson im Film charakterlich macht.

Diese Entwicklung steht entsprechend auch im Fokus des Films. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, u.a. bekannt aus "Inception" oder dem dritten Teil von "Batman", führt Regie und spielt gleichzeitig die Hauptrolle. Der weibliche Gegenpart wird von Hollywood-Schönheit Scarlett Johansson übernommen.
