Ein langer Sommer in den frühen 80er Jahren. Der elfjährige Will (Bill Milner), streng gläubig erzogen, wächst in einer Welt auf, in der Filme und Musik verboten sind. Eines Tages tritt der Schulrabauke Lee Carter (Will Poulter) in sein Leben und verändert mit einer Raubkopie von „Rambo" für immer alles.

Voller Begeisterung beginnen er und der Schulrüpel Lee - mit einer Videokamera und Will in der Hauptrolle - nun ihre eigene Fortsetzung zu drehen. Trotz wilder Stunts und grenzenloser Phantasie sind sie immer darauf bedacht, dass ihnen Lehrer und Eltern nicht auf die Schliche kommen…
