Ein Zwischenfall, der mit der vorhergehenden Mieterin in Zusammenhang steht, lässt das Leben des jungen Paares aus den Fugen geraten. Inspiriert vom Stück „Tod eines Handlungsreisenden“ von Arthur Miller stellt der neue Film von Oscarpreisträger Asghar Farhadi („A Separation“) eine Parabel auf die heutige iranische Gesellschaft dar. Am Filmfestival Cannes mit dem Drehbuchpreis und dem Darstellerpreis ausgezeichnet.
